You need a synch strainer. Both the monitor, and the genlock are floating
their respective signals, trying to find something to grab a hold of.
Unfortunately, they couldn't coexist until the Synch Strainer came out
from Pre Vue Technologies. I'm currently writing a review for CSA reviews,
and will have it out shortly. So far it seems to work perfectly, and
actually seems to improve the genlocked image slightly, especially on the
monitor end of things. Only $45 from Safe Harbor, and it's worth it!
